PASTOR NOEL & HIS WIFE
Pastor Noel submitted and committed his life to Jesus on Christmas Eve 1980 at Haleiwa Baptist Church. He had grown up in Corona del Mar, surfing, and later building and racing cars, eventually owning and driving a Top Fuel Dragster. For "Nitro Noel" it truly was “life in the fast lane”, but not enough to fill that empty void that only Jesus could fill.
He moved back to the mainland, settling in Dana Point and got involved teaching Bible studies at the local Baptist Church. During the next ten years he listened to hundreds of Chuck Smith tapes, attended Dr. Walter Martin’s studies and grew in the Lord.
Noel met his wife Kristin in 1987 on a blind date and it was “love at first sight.” They married on New Years Eve that year and have been inseparable ever since. They moved to Novato in 1989 where Noel became an elder and pastoral advisor in the Assembly of God church. In 1993 Noel joined Calvary Chapel Solano and enrolled in Trinity Biblical University. He earned a degree studying during lunch breaks and after work while working at Mercedes Benz of Santa Rosa. During that time Noel served in most of the ministries at Calvary Solano and came on staff there as an assistant Pastor 2005.
Noel accepted the calling to Calvary Chapel Rio Vista in September of 2011. Noel and Kristin currently reside in Rio Vista with their German Shepherd, Big Al. They have six children, four grandchildren, and two great-grand children.
