WHO WE ARE:
Calvary Chapel Rio Vista is a non-denominational Christian Church that is part of the larger Calvary Chapel group of churches world wide.
If you are looking for a Church, we would like to invite you to come and worship with us Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and Wednesday Evenings at 6:30 pm. - We are a body of believers gathering together under the Lordship of Jesus Christ to worship Him, be taught by His Word, and grow in our love for one another.
- We come to worship Him because He is worthy to receive glory, honor, and power, and has created all things. We therefore emphasize songs of praise and worship.
- We come to be taught by His Word because it is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, leading us to a deeper knowledge of Him. We therefore emphasize the teaching of the Word.
- We come to grow in our love because He commanded that we love one another, and by this the world will know that we are His disciples. We therefore emphasize the unity and fellowship of the body of Christ.
- We go, as He instructed us, to live in such a way, and to communicate the gospel in such a way, that others will become followers of Jesus. We believe in being led by The Holy Spirit, who guides us in truth, gives us faith, and fills us with love.
